Campus Facility
Library

SIS students visit the library each week. As part of their curriculum they participate in the Accelerated Reader program known on campus as the AR Program. The goal of the Accelerated reader Program is to help students become lifelong learners who love to read.
Accelerated Reader is a motivational program for individual student reading practice. Reading materials are matched to the appropriate reading levels for the students. As the year progresses, teachers evaluate the students reading progress.
Students enjoy accumulating points and earning certificates, although the ultimate prize is to improve their reading skills.

"Healthy eating is an important life skill..."
