Tours

SABIS^® International School understands the importance of the educational decisions you make for your child.  You are invited to tour our campus and see firsthand what makes our school special.  Tours are scheduled throughout the year and are routinely undertaken on the first Wednesday of every month at 10:00AM and 3:30PM.  Please call the front desk to reserve a spot for either time slot.  If you would like to schedule a tour at another time, please call Ms. Moran to make alternate arrangements.

Kindergarten Admissions

Open enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year commences on February 1, 2008. SIS will only hold a spot for your child once their completed enrollment packet is turned into the school. Space is limited and you are thus advised to register early. Kindergarten students are not tested for admittance in to Kindergarten.

Documents that you need to register your Kindergartener include: A copy of your vhild's birth certificate, a copy of immunization record/ Kindergarten physical form, and a copy of your child's social security card.  Should additional documents be needed, the Registrar will advise you at the time of registration.

First Grade through Eighth Grade Admissions

SIS accepts and enrolls student year round.  To start the admissions process, stop by the front office of the school to fill out the School Inquiry Sheet and set up a test date for your child.  All students must take a placement test to assess the educational preparedness for the grade level requested. 

Once the testing is completed, it is processed and the Academic Advisor (AQC) will contact you, usually within 3 days, to inform you of your child’s performance and grade placement.  Please be sure you provide the school with your most recent contact details so we can easily communicate the test results with you.  If your child is currently attending a neighboring school, feel free to leave your child in their current school until you receive the placement details and agree on a start date.  You can then purchase uniforms, withdraw your child from their other school, and request your child's school records to be sent to the SIS records department.

Transfer Students

Transfer students will be welcomed into SABIS^® International School post the placement exam and completed admissions packet. On the first day of school, the new student will report to the school office wearing a SABIS^® uniform and will be received by members of Student Life, who will show the new student around the campus and then to his/her classroom.

SIS open houses will be held on the first Wednesday of each month starting in February from 5:30 to 6:30PM.

An open house is an opportunity for you to come see SIS, take a tour, ask questions, meet staff, and receive the initial paper work for admission into the school.
