Gladiator PTA is dedicated to promoting your student’s health, well being and educational success.


Our 2012-2013 Goals are:

  • Raising awareness about the power of family and community involvement.
  • Taking action to promote involvement through specific programs and practices.
  • Help you better support learning in the home.
  • Celebrating success as SABIS sees increased involvement and its impact.

PTA Possibilities

As a parent, you are the most important influence in your child’s success in school and in life. We would like to see parents sign-up for the Gladiator PTA. We meet once a month usually at 6pm in the school cafeteria. If you’re a parent that cannot attend regular meetings you can still find out what was discussed by going to the SABIS website and reviewing the meeting minutes as well as e-mailing or calling one of the members and we would be happy to discuss what happened at the meetings.

If you’re a parent that cannot make meetings but would like to be involved, some of the best ways to find out what’s going on with your child’s education is by volunteering your time to help in your child’s classroom, or at an event. Other ways to find information about the school is to check out the school’s website to stay informed, attend meetings of the school board, or to a specific program or event that the PTA or school is hosting.

In closing Gladiator PTA is not just a group that meets rather it is members of the school community that helps your child be safe, healthy, and successful – in school and in life.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Parents don't forget to sign up for SABIS® Web Parent. Pick up a sign up sheet in the front office. Parents who have already signed up can access Web School at www.webschool.sabis.net.

 

Don’t forget to donate your gently used uniforms. Shirts, pants, and shorts in youth sizes 5-14.  Drop off in Front Office.

Register to become a PTA member. $5.00 fee and you will get discounts, resources and voting rights. Contact PTA for more information to see form above.

09/30 Friends & Family Outreach Festival at Esteban Park at 32nd St & Roeser From 12:30pm-5:00pm - See Flyer

10/1 Picture Day 7:30am to 11:30am (Volunteers Needed see Office)

10/2 Volleyball AWAY at South Valley 4:30pm

10/9 Jr. Training Camp at SABIS sponsored by AZ Cardinals & Gatorade for 100 students. It's from 8:30am to 10:30am. Volunteers needed, please contact Kathleen Ferris for more info.

 

10/10 PTA Meeting @ 6pm

10/11-10/12 Parent Teacher Conference (Contact front office if you still need to schedule) Early Release Days Students get out at 12:30pm
